Some of our achievements in civil engineering and infrastructure

TRANSPORT

RN12014-2015: HIGHWAY STUDIES AND DESIGN: Traffic, geotechnical and environmental studies, plans and specifications for the reconstruction of the national road and highway No.1 (RN1) of Haiti, between Plaisance and Cap-Haitien in the northern portion of Haiti. This project was realized in consortium with WSP Canada for the Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Communications (TPTC) and was financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB).

 

 

2014-2015: STUDIES AND ENGINEERING OF CIVIL ROAD WORKS: The objective of this mission was to improve the strategic planning of the transport sector through the collection of key indicators on road infrastructure, such as OD survey, traffic counting and measurement of roughness (IRI) on the primary network of the National Roads of Haiti: RN1, RN2, RN3, RN4 and RN8, the provision of equipment, staff training, the audit of the National Laboratory and recommendation of improvement for  the delivery of essential laboratory services. This project was realized in consortium with WSP Canada for the Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Communications (TPTC) of Haiti and was financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB).

2014-2015: IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF CIVIL WORKS- The mission includes the impact analysis of emergency infrastructures (fords, temporary deviations) made to provide access to segments of damaged roads and the assessment of reconstruction of selected main structures destroyed by hurricanes. This involves interviews through questionnaires of various stakeholders, collection and analysis of existing data and studies; site visits and information gathering; surveys of local residents affected by the works; creation of impact assessment matrix. The objective aimed to increase the resilience of structures and roads of Haiti to natural disasters. This project was realized in consortium with WSP Canada for the Ministry of Public Works, Transportation and Communications (TPTC) of Haiti and was financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB).

2008-2010 : BRIDGES AND STRUCTURES DESIGN- Detailed engineering, plans/drawings and specifications for new construction or replacement of bridges under embankment and related structures as subcontractor to Genivar for the Ministry of Transport of Quebec (MTQ). Our work includes: analysis and validation of data from hydraulic and geotechnical studies made by external firms, establishment of design criteria, production of AutoCAD plans/drawings, specifications and estimates, verification of compliance of tenders with specifications and plans. The following are a list of realizations:
•    Two bridges of CON/SPAN type - Mégapole 13  (Laval), Quebec
•    Bridge on road 223  at Saint-Paul-de-l'île-aux-Noix, Quebec
•    Bridge on road 223  at Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington, Quebec
•    Bridge on road 201 at Ormstown, Quebec
•    Bridge on road 219  at Napierville, Quebec
•    Bridge on road 104  at Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Quebec.

2008-2010 : SUPERVISION OF BRIDGE COONSTRUCTION - As assistant to the chief supervisor, our work includes : verification of the conformity of the work with respect to plans and specifications; verification of quality and quantity of materials received on site; compilation of delivery notes and calculations of payments; participation in site meetings and preparation of site daily and weekly reports; collection of pertinent data for the preparation of as-built plans.
•    Supervision of the construction of  bridge on road 219  at Napierville, Quebec
•    Supervision of the construction of  bridge on road Saint Guillaume at Sainte-Marthe, Quebec
•    Supervision of the construction of  bridge on road 104 at Grand-Pré, Quebec

 

BUILDING AND MUNICIPAL INFRATRUCTURES

2014-... : SUPERVISION OF UNDERGROUND CONSTRUCTION - Ongoing supervision of underground construction works and sidewalk refection for the Commission des Services Electriques de Montreal (CSEM).

2013- : INTEGRATED UTILITY SERVICES – We provide full range of integrated underground network services for power, gas and telecommunications to municipalities and developers. Our services includes engineering design, plans, drawings, specifications and the supervision of underground construction projects.

•    Underground Network Extension of Aubépines and Tilleuls streets, Phase B5, Vaudreuil-sur-le-Lac. Client:  WSP Canada , 2015

2012-2013: PUBLIC MARKET - Supervision of the construction of the public market of Bas Limbe under the patronage of USAID and the town hall.

2010- SCHOOL STUDIES AND DESIGN- Detailed engineering, plans/drawings and specifications for the construction of a 12 classrooms school with a capacity of 600 students, health and sports facilities, cafeteria, etc.. Our work includes: hydraulic and geotechnical studies, establishment of design criteria, production of AutoCAD plans/drawings, specifications and estimates, verification of compliance of tenders with specifications and plans. This project funded by CIDA through the CRUDEM Foundation

2012-2013: Supervison of the construction of the public market of Bas Limbe under the patronage of USAID and the town hall.

2010- Studies, plans/drawins and specifications for the construction of the Oasis School Complex at Diaville. This project was sponsored by CENTERCH on behalf of Eglises Unies.

2010- Structural inspection of several buildings after the January 12, 2010 earthquake in Haiti.

 

CELLULAR ANTENNA'SITES

2008-2009: CELLULAR ANTENNA SITES - Detailed engineering, plans/drawings and specifications for the construction and installations of numerous cellular sites. These include site inspection, structural analysis, and detailed designs for the installation of 3G cellular antennas. This was a multi-project orders from Prestige Telecom which was the main contractor to Videotron and Telus.
